BMT – Basketball Management Toukmenidis is a basketball players agency which operates both in Greece and abroad, where holds a well-organized network of partners. The object of the company is not only to promote the athletes but to offer general support around all matters related to their career. A group of people consisting of coaches, trainers, doctors, physiotherapists, lawyers and financial consultants are always next to our athletes.

Basic principles of the agency are honesty, integrity and mutual trust, which is the reason for our successful activity so far.

Minas Toukmenidis

Founder/CEO - Basketball Agent

The head of the agency Minas Toukmenidis, works professionally as a players agent since 1993, when he stopped his career as an athlete. From 1973 since 1982 he played for all the teams of V.A.O., from U-16 team until mens team at the A’ National Division. For the season 1982-1983 he played at ARIS Thessaloniki, with which he won the Greek Championship.

Next stop in his career was the team of Iraklis where he played from 1984 to 1989. Thereafter, he played in several teams such as PAOD, Esperos Kallithea and Makedonikos. For the season 1983-1984 he finished 2nd at the top scorer’s list behind Nick Galis and the season 1981-1982 3rd scorer in the Greek Basketball League. From 1975 since 1983 he was a member of the Greek National Teams of U-16, U-19 and Men.

Based on his long and successful presence in the field of basketball as an athlete, he decided to become a professional player’s agent. From the beginning he worked with important Greek athletes such as Dinos Aggelidis, Lefteris Kakiousis, Vassilis Lypiridis, Achilleas Mamatziolas. The trust that built with his athletes was immediately distinct and this brought together other significant players such as Nick Hatzivrettas, Lazaros Papadopoulos, Giorgos Bosganas, Dimos Dikoudis, Pantelis Papaioakeim, Savas Iliadis, Sotiris Nikolaidis, George Pavlidis. The experience acquired, covering most of his life within the basketball courts, gave him the ability to recognise the talented young players and work with them from a very young age. An example of this is Dimitris Diamantidis, the potentials of which he saw from the very first moment and represents him as his agent from the age of 17 until today.

George Melidis

Basketball Agent

George Melidis has studied Marketing at University of Macedonia and holds a master degree in Sports Marketing from Coventry University. As a basketball player he played in YMCA of Thessaloniki, Apollon Kalamarias BC and Aias Euosmou BC and recently he has joined BMT as a basketball agent. He is certified basketball agent by HBF (certification no 202060), thus certified by FIBA as well.
